Contact Us Anytime

We believe that an open line of communication between the dance teacher and the parents is essential to a successful dance experience. Our teachers will email the class periodically to update the parents on the progress of the class and any other pertinent class information. The studio will also email everyone regularly with all studio news, recital information, and information regarding new programs, special events, and contests/special offers. So, please check your email regularly! We encourage you to contact us with any questions that arise throughout the year.

Dancewear

Simply Dance is proud to sell Revolution Dancewear for dance shoes, dance clothing, and accessories.  We are happy to help you select the right item for your class or size for your shoes.

We will also be starting an online store through Revolution, so you can order your things online. We will still size you for shoes at the studio, so you are sure to get the size you need. You are welcome to purchase from us or to visit your local dance retailer. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact our office.

Food Allergies

Please let the office staff and your child's teacher know of any food allergies your child may have so it can be added as a note on your account. If you are planning to bring anything for the class to enjoy (birthdays, etc.) please call the studio ahead of time. We ask that if you bring in food for the class that you also bring along the ingredients list. When bringing in something please keep it simple.

Miscellaneous Policies

-All students will be placed in the appropriate classes at the discretion of the Artistic Director.

-Students are expected to behave respectfully. Dance class is to be both educational and fun. However, an important part of class work is developing an attitude of discipline and respects for both teachers and fellow students. Any disrespectful behavior to either teachers or students will not be tolerated. Students are not to be socializing in a disruptive manner during class with other students. You are welcome to come early to visit with friends.

-Please arrive on time to receive the full benefit of the class and to avoid injury.

-No cell phones in class.

-Be respectfully of others property. If it is not yours, please do not touch.

-All students are encouraged not to leave class once started. Please allow for appropriate restroom use prior to class.

-Recital schedule, practices and rules will follow at later date.

-All students must be covered by their own insurance for any injuries that may occur. The student and/or their family are responsible for all medical costs. Every student/parent must sign a medical release form before they are able to participate in class.

-No street shoes are permitted in the dance studio. Street shoes track in dirt and other objects that can damage the dance floor and cause tacky spots on the floor that could be dangerous to the dancers.

-For the safety of you and others please no tumbling in the waiting areas. We have invested in sprung dance floors to help avoid strain and injuries. The waiting room has a concrete floor that can hurt you.

-We expect that while you are at Simply Dance you attend this studio only. We will hold workshops and master classes with other teachers throughout the year to give you the opportunity to learn from other teachers.

Annual Recital Production

Our Annual Dance Production is part of the student’s dance education; however, the student is not obligated to participate. Our recital is usually held at the end of June and each student will be required to attend classes regularly, attend rehearsals associated with the recital, and pay for any costume(s) needed for their number. Costumes fees are $65 per class and $10 for tights. If you are in different classes, you may need more than one pair of tights. Ballet/Tap combo classes will only need one costume. It will be a combo costume.
