Activity Explanation: This activity will help you continue to perfect your drawing skills.Idea Examples: (Don’t limit yourself …expand your vision and just draw…it is the process that helps you become a better artist and above all ENJOY!)Let’s take our knowledge of Color Value and explore some new ways of using this drawing technique. Before we left school, we were working on an Ice Cream Cone Value project. You had painted a VALUE SCALE using one color of paint, and you created the different values by adding white (TINTS) or black (SHADES).Last week’s lesson had you creating different values using a pencil. Let’s take our learning a little further!DRAW an ice cream cone, including at least 6 scoops.Using different techniques (stippling, shading, hatching, cross-hatching), fill in each scoop creating values from light to dark, in order (see my example).I can’t wait to see what you create! Please remember to email your artwork to me at khouser@! Extension ActivityCreate a drawing of any object using different values of one color!Look for other Drawing Tutorials on Youtube from… Art for Kids Hub ................
