The children will create a diorama from a shoe box based on the Vikings homes and ships. ( 2 lessons )Strand: Fabric and Fibre- Strand Unit: collages The children will create an autumnal scene using fabric and fibre to make autumn trees. ( 2 lessons)October Strand: Fabric and FibreStrand unit: creating in fabric and fibre: The children will express their individuality thorough the use of embroidering hessian. The children will embroider their names on to the hessian, and will design it according to their interests. ( 2 lessons )Strand: Paint and Colour:The children will create Halloween art using paint and colour. This exploration will typically take place at the beginning of the art lesson, and will allow for opportunities for the children to talk and discuss working what that material.
