Stress and Time Management

January & February 2017

Work stress is recognized worldwide as a major challenge to workers’ health and the healthiness of their organizations. Workers who are stressed are more likely to be unhealthy, poorly motivated, less productive and less safe at work. Their organizations are less likely to be competitive in a global market.

One of the most frequent concerns and complaints of people today is that they do not have enough time to do what they have to do. Time management and stress management are often closely related and share common symptoms.

Good management and good work organization are the best forms of stress prevention.

The one-day Stress and Time Management workshops held countrywide in January and February 2017 provided delegates with information on factors and symptoms associated with high stress levels, tools to assess their stress levels and time management skills, techniques to manage stressful situations and difficult people and to improve their time management skills.

The theoretical learning process was supplemented with self-assessment questionnaires, practical exercises and video clips. The conclusion and reflection exercises allowed the delegates to identify specific and practical aspects of the workshop which they can apply to improve their stress and time management skills in the workplace.
