PRESIDENT BUSH and CONGRESS

PRESIDENT BUSH and CONGRESS

COULD END ABORTION IN AMERICA IN ONE WEEK:

President Bush and the US Congress have the power NOW to end abortion in America in one week:

Pass HR 552, the "Right to Life Act", amended with the addition of the Article III., Section 2. power of the US Congress in the US Constitution to limit the appellate jurisdiction of the US supreme Court, and the complete jurisdiction of the lower federal courts (US District Courts and US Circuit Courts of Appeal, which were created by Congress by federal statute, and could even be eliminated by Congress by federal statute, let alone have their jurisdictions limited).

[ see HR 552 at ]

Note: The US House actually passed federal court jurisdiction-limiting legislation vis-a-vis the Defense of Marriage Act, on July 22, 2004. The bill was called the "Marriage Protection Act," HR 3313. Passed during the 108th Congress, the US Senate then "sat" on the bill for the next five months until that session of Congress expired and the bill died in January 2005. In the first 11 months of 2005,

the 109th Congress has so far failed to once again pass the "Marriage Protection Act."

News Update:

December 7, 2005

Dear Friends,

It isn't often that I send out additional news items, as I try to send only stories I believe are important, and

the mainstream media is not reporting. But here are some additional items which did not make last night's newsletter, and need specific prayer. Also, I did make a slight change to my article "A Matter of Life and Death" and will send you the revision. Any articles I write may be shared with credit to be given to myself

as author and are to be used for the Glory of God.

Thank you,

Angela Wittman

A Matter of Life and Death

By Angela Wittman

December 6, 2005

Dear Friends,

Have you been spending countless hours writing letters to your "pro-life" senators and congressmen asking them to vote pro-life? Have you spent countless minutes on the phone explaining to the staff of your legislator why he should vote pro-life? And does he vote for a piece of legislation that doesn't really end the murder of innocent babies in the womb, but just regulates the killers? Perhaps you have even spent thousands of dollars helping certain candidates win election in hope that Congress would have the needed votes to save innocent lives of preborn babies? Are you wondering why the killing of children via abortion is still "legal" and why even with a majority of the Republican Party in power, innocent blood still flows through the sewers of America? Wouldn't it be wonderful if our "pro-life" representatives brought an end to the barbarism of baby killing?

A friend, Cal Zastrow of Michigan Citizens for Life, recently pointed out to me how quickly Congress took action on Rep. Murth's call for an immediate withdrawal from Iraq on Thursday, the 18th of November 2005. By late Friday, on November 19th of 2005, Congress had pushed through and rejected with a vote of 403-3, a nonbinding resolution calling for immediate troop withdrawal.

I wonder why Congress hasn't taken this kind of decisive action on behalf of preborn babies by quickly

passing the Right to Life Act of 2005? You would think this would be a "no-brainer" and they would be racing to see who among them would be first to ensure the passage of such noble legislation. Instead, I have read that the bill is "languishing in the House Judiciary Subcommittee on the Constitution."

Cal Zastrow has this advice for the pro-life voters of America:

Being as the Republicans voted on a bill the same day as it was introduced in the House of Representatives last month, don't believe them when they say:

1. "We tried to get to the Right to Life Act of 2005 but ran out of time."

2. "We're pro-life."

3. "Things in Washington take time."

4. "We're doing the best we can."

5. "We could get more done if the Democrats wouldn't obstruct."

6. "Just think how bad it would be if we weren't in power."

7. "We are really building and can get things done next session, if you

just give us more campaign donations, support, and time."

8. "Trust us."

9. "We can't introduce Articles of Impeachment against any judges right now."

10. "The courts are the problem, not us."

11. Their next Oath of Office.

12. "We are supporting President Bush's stance against illegal immigration."

13. "We have cut all the taxes that can really be cut for now."

14. "Roe v. Wade is that law of the land."

15. "I'm upholding the Constitution."

16. "I had to vote for the federal budget."

Pro-life missionary Steve Lefemine of Columbia Christians for Life, South Carolina, has written an

excellent article on the authority Congress and President Bush could use to end abortion right now,

and he has brought to light these political facts:

Republicans hold the majority in the U.S. House by over a 25-vote majority:

231 Republicans to 202 Democrats, plus 1 Independent and 1 vacancy.

Republicans hold the majority in the U.S. Senate as well: 55 Republicans

to 44 Democrats, plus 1 Independent.

Republicans have held the White House since the first inauguration of

George W. Bush on January 20, 2001, over four years ago.

Since then, over 4 MILLION pre-birth Americans have been murdered on the

watch of President George W. Bush and the Republican-majority Congress.

[]

So, dear friends, let's write another letter, and make another phone call telling our elected public servants to take action immediately on the Right to Life Act of 2005 (HR 552). Tell them to end the bloodshed taking place by back-alley abortionists on Main Street America!

After all, it is a matter of life and death!
