ACTION PLAN TEMPLATE - Arts Integration Solutions

Sample Action Plan

2009-2010

Draft 7/15/09

Description of the Arts Integrated Project

This is our school’s second year in the Arts Integration learning process. Last year we conducted a professional book study group,

visited two schools to observe Arts Integration lessons, and began writing and implementing the lessons. The Arts Integration

Team met each month to discuss their progress and assisting each other with recommendations.

This school year we will continue our journey with the entire staff. This action plan describes how we plan to increase staff

knowledge into the elements and strategies, and take these concepts into our classrooms. Professional development workshops and a

book club will support these goals, as well as the MATI trained teachers taking a leadership role in the school to assist and promote

this integrated approach.

In order to involve our school community, we will end our school year with our “Arts on the Hill” celebration with our strings groups

playing, the chorus performing, and fine arts student projects on display.
