NJMS Clinical Investigator Search Committee – Serve as member to search and recruit new faculty to Rutgers

UH Metrics Committee- Serve as committee member to establish value metrics that will be used as a basis for the Value Incentive payments for clinical faculty.

UH EPIC Beacon Implementation Committee- Serve as committee member designing chemotherapy protocols and working with IST to implement electronic medical record based oncology service.

UH EPIC MyChart Committee, Chair- Serve as chair member with initiative to implement all functionality of patient-based portal to access medical information.

UH Robotic Committee, Chair – Serve as chair to discuss utilization of robotic surgical instrument. Also exchange information among subspecialties and discuss need for additional equipment and training necessities.

UH Enhanced Recovery After Surgery Committee – Serve as committee member in multi-subspecialty collaboration for hospital-wide initiation of the ERAS pathway.

UH Quality Programs Committee – Serve as committee member to discuss implementation of meaningful use criteria within the electronic medical record and hospital system.

NYU/Ghana Global Women's Health Elective, Korle Bu Teaching Hospital: Accra, Ghana - Spent three weeks integrated into the Korle Bu OB/GYN residency program to facilitate a relationship and a role for mentorship/educational opportunities between NYU and Korle Bu.  Taught residents clinical and surgical skills as well as interpretation of ultrasound and fetal non-stress tests.

Volunteer, World Health Student Organization, Belize – Performed histories and physical exams in rural Belize, suggested interventions and plans of care, counseled on preventative medicine, and distributed medical supplies.

Coordinator, STD/AIDS Awareness Program – Coordinated efforts within the Detroit Public Schools to comply with new sexual health requirements and updated educational materials for teaching (2006-2007).
