Competency to perform simple office clerical duties Reports To:High School Principal/Assistant PrincipalsJob Goal:To perform supervisory duties as designated by principal.To perform simple office clerical duties.Performance ResponsibilitiesI.Supervisory RoutinesOversee loading and/or unloading of students on/off busses (as dictated by daily schedule). Work with administrators/bus drivers to insure safety of students.Assist in supervision of students in cafeteria.Walk halls during the day to supervise students traveling to/from classes. Report student offenses to principal/assistant principal.Coordinate (if necessary) with middle school supervisory aides concerning middle school students in high school areas.Assist in the locker room supervision in the gym and pool areas as needed.Supervise detention students and notify teachers if assignments are needed.Other supervision of students as needed.Page 2 II.Physical DemandsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. III.Work EnvironmentThe work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to severe. The employee should be able to work in the outdoor environment. The employee will be regularly exposed to conditions including, but not limited to moisture, heat, cold, bus/automobile exhaust.The employee should be able to walk extensively (for long periods of time) while on hall supervision.Terms of Employment: 180 days, arranged in conjunction with the principal and the Superintendent’s office to coincide with student days. ................
