November 2002—present- Disability Claim Consultant/Expert Witness in private practice—Review of ERISA and Non-ERISA disability claims. Services include detailed policy and file reviews with recommendations; assistance provided to individual professionals making application for benefits; assistance to attorneys in various stages of claim litigation.

May 1996 to November 2002-- UNUMProvident- Lead Customer Care Specialist, Neuropsych/Cardiac Impairment Unit, UNUMProvident, Portland, Maine. Responsibility for the senior leadership of claims examiners for Individual, Short-Term and Long-Term Disability. Managed claim caseload of 185 claims and was responsible for the day to day review, management, and processing of disability claims under ERISA guidelines and “shared” or “common” non-ERISA Individual disability claims.

January 1994 to April 1996 - UNUM Life Insurance Company, 2211 Congress Street, Portland, Maine 04122. Executive Secretary to the Vice President of Compensation. Later promoted to Compensation Specialist in the Department of Executive Compensation, Human Resources. Responsibilities included management of Executive Stock Options, payroll recording and accounting administration for Expatriates.

December 1993-January 1994- Executive Secretary to the Vice President of Credit Unions in the State of Maine, Outer Congress Street employed through Bonney Personnel. Responsible for all secretarial duties to include accounting audits for CPAs employed at the same location.

August 1992 to December 1993 - Secondary School Substitute Teacher, Bonney Eagle High School, Memorial Junior High School, Jack Memorial, English, Social Studies, English and Current Events. Teacher certification 8-12 Social Studies, currently expired.

May 1981, to July 1992 - Andover College, Washington Avenue, Portland, Maine 04103.
