TYROSINEMIA-RELATED LAB WORK / TESTS / PROCEDURES

|Tyrosinemia-related Lab Work / Tests / Procedures |

Use the table on the next page to monitor your child’s laboratory evaluations related to tyrosinemia. Keep track of tyrosine and (-fetoprotein levels. Other measures you may wish to add to this table include other amino acids (methionine, phenylalanine), succinylacetone, prothrombin time, bilirubin, ALT/AST, GGT, alkaline phosphatase, BUN, creatinine, renal ultrasound, skeletal x-rays, and abdominal CTs. Some families find it useful to add the measure to this table, and then indicate normal or abnormal results.

An explanation of the laboratory measures is found in Section 3, Medical Management.
