Technology TroubleshootPlease see the quick check list below for the ideal scenario. If you meet all the criteria, please continue reading for help with your current issue. QUICK TIPS CHECKLIST: Be seated at a laptop/desktop Launch the event site ( ) on Google Chrome Download the Zoom app to your computer Internet speed is ideal - close out any programs you are not using, do not stream any music/videos. If it’s incredibly slow, check with other people in your household/office to pause any live streaming. WHEN IN DOUBT - START FRESH: Force close your browser Force close your Zoom app Restart your computer, clear cache and start fresh QUICK TIPS CHECKLIST:You can share your screen, if you have a presentation, demo, or capabilities overview - please share your screen. If you are not familiar with sharing your screen in a Zoom Room, please refrain from trying.BE TECH READY! Do not fumble/openly complain about the technology, if you have a hard time getting into the room or hit a tech issue, simply send a message through the CHAT BOX in the site, and let your meeting know you are on the way. All attendees must download the new Zoom 5.0.Internet speed is fundamental- close out any programs you are not using, do not stream any music/videos. If it’s incredibly slow, check with other people in your household/office to pause any live streaming. If it’s still slow and cutting out, please turn off your camera to allow for audio only.STEPS TO LAUNCHING SESSIONS (AGENDA ITEMS): On the event page, click “Agenda” and scroll to find the correct agenda item, then click on the item. At the start of the session, you will see a “Join Live Meeting” button. Click on this and you will be taken to the live session, or if it is pre-recorded, the play button will appear to start watching. You will repeat the above steps every time you join a new session. If you try to join after the meeting has ended, even if it says “Live”, you will not be able to join. BEST TECHNOLOGY SET UP- ON A DESKTOP / LAPTOP: Seated participation on Desktop / Laptop and active on the conference site. (Think of this site being the hotel where we are hosting the conference.) Using Google Chrome (quick download) NOTE: Other browsers may not be compatible with the virtual conference software causing audio issues Zoom app downloaded to your computer (click here) If you are not able to download Zoom to your computer, you will be able to watch live streams, please use Google Chrome. USING AN IPAD: We recommend using a desktop/laptop for the virtual session, if not, please make sure you understand the tips below. Have the iPad Zoom app downloaded Click on the agenda to launch the meeting, click “Join Live Meeting” then click “Watch in Zoom”. For the best experience, do not call into the meeting room. Use iPad audio in the Zoom app. USING AN IPHONE: PLEASE DON'T.
