AWARENESS DAY

Written by Margaret Randerson

For those who were unable to come along on Saturday 10th May here is a brief update of our day, it may not have been the best of weather but that didn't stop around 55 folk coming along to visit the variety of stands that included Mini Massage, Bowen therapy, Carers First, Magnetic jewellery, the Pain Management Team to name just a few. We had 18 new members sign up and look forward to hopefully seeing you all at further meetings, we also had a welcome return visit from our local Councillors Trevor, Sylvia & Rupert who are always very supportive of our group, today was also the launch of our new group logo with new pens, stress balls and most importantly the updated leaflet which we now need to get out to all Doctors surgery's clinics etc, so any help would be welcome although please see a committee member so that we can co-ordinate the distribution, overall the response has been that it was a very successful day, the change of venue was a lot better for access and we will certainly use the church hall again.

Which only leaves me to say a great big thanks to Susan, Sarah, Pat & Kerry without whose help the group wouldn't be back to where we are now and the day such a success.

2. have been diagnosed with fibromyalgia prior to the onset of your pregnancy,
