Gods and Goddesses of Ancient Greece

Objective:

Describe in bullet form, five gods and/or goddesses of Mount Olympus, being sure to explain their role in Greek mythology. This will be done through PowerPoint, will be descriptive, written in your own words, and include pictures.

Procedure:

1. Title

2. Choose five different gods and goddesses of Mount Olympus

3. Include a Title for each God/Goddess

4. At least one slide per God/Goddess

5. Record descriptive information about each one you choose

- At least 4 facts for each god

- Written in your own words

6. Each god must include the following information

- What they were a god/goddess of

- Where they came from

- Their role in Greek mythology

- Any other interesting information

7. Include at least one visual for each god/goddess

- visual must include a caption to explain it

Grading Criteria:

A = 27-30 points – all five gods are discussed in detail, with at

least 1 visual, and is very organized and clear

B = 24-26 points – all five gods are discussed in detail, with at

least 1 visual, somewhat organized and clear

C = 21-23 points – all five gods are discussed, with at least 1

Visual, not very organized

Resources:

You will need to use your text book, the Internet, and any other source necessary to complete this assignment
