SUMMER TRAINING

We will have “kick-a-rounds” this summer (open to all, required of none) to get in some fitness and touches on a ball. Dates right now are unknown. Traditionally, senior leaders step up and organize them and keep everyone informed via Twitter (last season was: @MRHSsoccer2017). Last year, there were a lot of pick-up games at Elon Park.

I’m giving you a summer workout plan. I would advise adapting it into your summer training in preparation for a great season. What you are doing RIGHT NOW determines how well the season goes for us. What do you want your legacy to be? Pain is temporary…glory is forever!

Also, the weight room will be available this summer. Times unknown. However, body-weight exercises such as push-ups, sit-ups, leg lunges, etc… do not take anything but commitment and dedication.

What are you doing TODAY to prepare for tomorrow? Remember, “You are allowed to be good.”

We will be holding our third annual summer camp for boys and girls, ages rising 6th grade to rising 9th grade. Spread the word to your friends, family, and neighbors. Here is the information:

**Rising Seniors: If you are interested in community-service hours, we could use your help at the camp (offered to returning Varsity players first).
