I started the CT Attractions with a grade 3 class today

I started the CT Attractions with a grade 3 class today.  I decided to gather info on a few different places rather than one just one place.  We did the note taking together for 2 attractions.  I am thinking about seeing if they can work together with a partner to find info on 2 more.  If they can't do it, we'll just go back to taking notes as a whole class. I used the  following website.

Click on Connections and then you can try Family Fun or History.

This site is good because when you click on the names of Attractions it opens up to a page with an organized, easy to follow summary.  I am having students collect basic info such as location, description, cost and website.  It's nice because it exposes them to many different attractions.  From there they can also click on the link that opens up to the website for that specific attraction.

I have attached a copy of the note sheet, a sample and a template.

I was thinking about using the following website .
