LOCATION AND DESCRIPTION

Auburn Riverside High School (ARHS) is located in south Auburn along Oravetz Road which runs parallel to the Stuck River. The school serves students from Olympic and Mt. Baker Middle Schools from the Auburn School District and from North Tapps Middle School in the Dieringer School District. Auburn Riverside is 187,000 sq. ft. and sits on 32 acres. A wide range of socioeconomic levels are represented in the ARHS attendance area.

CURRICULUM

Graduation requirements for our current seniors include: 22.5 credits for 9th through 12th grade. English 4, Mathematics 3, Social Studies 2.5, Science 2 (minimum of one lab science), Occupational Education 1, Physical Education/Health 2, Fine Arts 1, plus elective credits. A half credit is earned for each course successfully completed. In addition, students need to pass the state test in reading, writing and math and complete a Culminating Portfolio.

Biology, Chemistry, Physics, English Language, English Literature, Seminar, United States History, United States Government and Politics, Comparative Government and Politics , European History, Psychology, Human Geography, Statistics, Calculus, Computer Science, French, German, Spanish, Japanese, Studio Art.
