This document is designed to help reviewers, interpreters and translators working on Division of Child Support (DCS) brochures. Absent Parent (AP) -The parent who does not live in the home with the child and has a responsibility to pay support. APs are also referred to as nonresidential parents, noncustodial parents and responsible parents. Spanish ? Padre Ausente (AP) El padre que no vive en el hogar con el ni?o(a) y tiene una responsabilidad de pagar manutenci?n. APs (padre ausente) tambi?n son referidos como padres que no residen en el hogar, padres sin custodia y padres responsables.

Account Number - The number used in automated case processing to identify the individual making a payment. Synonymous with BI number. Spanish ? N?mero de cuenta ? El n?mero que se usa en un caso procesado autom?ticamente para identificar al individuo acreditado de hacer un pago. Sin?nimo con n?mero BI (b?sico del individuo).
To recognize, report the receipt of, or to accept or certify as legally binding. Spanish ? Reconocer, reportar el haber recibido o el aceptar la certificaci?n como vinculaci?n legal.
Adding more information to a text or numbers when finding a sum. Spanish ? Agregar m?s informaci?n a un texto o n?meros al encontrar una suma.
