I would like to thank the committee members for their voluntary contribution and commitment, without which, the Association would not endure. The EC has strived to keep the Association viable, to ensure it remains legally compliant, to plan strategically for growth and development, to recruit new members and endorsees, and to promote the values of Fair Trade to the community. While there may be many ways to participate in the Fair Trade journey, the key roles of the Association are endorsement and education. Your continued support through membership and participation is essential for the Association to grow and to spread the word about Fair Trade to the broader community.Thankyou for being part of the Fair Trade Association of Australia and New Zealand where we endeavour to lead and grow the Fair Trade movement to create a more just and equitable world.Kelly UptonChair – FTAANZ28 September 2019Executive Committee:Kelly UptonChairAnna SpooreVice Chair – October 2018 - May 2019Andy GoodTreasurerNimmity ZappertSecretary – November 2018 - currentRosemary FranksCommittee memberBarton WalshCommittee memberNicole LamondCommittee member Employees:Kate FawcettAdministration and communications officerMany of you would have had contact with our administration and communications officer, Kate Fawcett, who I would like to thank for her ongoing reliability, flexibility and commitment to the Association and Fair Trade in general.ACTIVITY REPORT 2018-19The Association continued to develop the priorities agreed at its July 2018 strategy day and introduced at the last AGMCommunication Strategy:Improving our communication processes has been a primary focus of the Association during the past twelve months and we have developed and implemented a strategic communications work plan.
