Alliance-member Girls’ Schools are highly represented in the top 100 Australian High Schools honour rollOn Saturday 1st May 2010, the Weekend Australian published an honour roll of the top 100 High Schools and the top 100 Primary Schools in Australia. The roll was compiled using an analysis of NAPLAN data from the MySchool website. The National Assessment Program – Literacy and Numeracy scores for Years 7 and 9 (in reading and numeracy) were used for the High School list. (NAPLAN is a series of common literacy and numeracy tests conducted annually across Australia for all students in Years 3, 5, 7 and 9). Single-sex girls’ schools that are members of the Alliance, feature prominently in both the numeracy and reading honour rolls. There were 45 Alliance-member schools in the top 100 Australian schools for reading. In numeracy, there were 18 Alliance-member schools listed.Congratulations to all our Alliance member schools who are recognised in this Australian honour roll!Listed below are the Alliance-member schools in their numerical position.
