| |verified credit eligibility. Full ASE certification can only be achieved after |

| |completion of required work experience, but is not required for Virginia |

| |student-selected verified credit. |

|Testing Procedure |All test are administered and scored by ACT, a non-profit corporation engaged in |

| |test development and administration, and in education and vocational research. ASE |

| |tests are given several times each year at designated testing centers. Registration|

| |is required before a specific deadline, and before tests can be administered. |

| |A registration form can be obtained from the current “ASE Certification Test |

| |Registration Booklet.” The form can be completed and mailed with appropriate fees to|

| |ASE/ACT, P.O. Box 4007, Iowa City, IA 52243. Registration can also be made by |

| |telephone or completed online (see page 15 of registration booklet and/or “Ordering |

| |Information.”) |

| |No more than four regular tests can be taken during one testing session. |

| |Anyone may take the regular ASE certification tests as long as registered by the |

| |deadline with payment of proper fees. Certification, after passing one or more |

| |tests, is only awarded after two years of hands-on work experience. |
