Attended by over 60 individuals, the conference offered many opportunities for learning and networking with testing professionals, peers and vendor representatives.Located in a harbor on Lake Michigan, the resort was beautiful and we were blessed with beautiful, sunny weather for the duration of the conference. We had many first-time conference attendees, as well as attendees who are now new members to GLCTA. Attendees came from many Great Lakes states, including Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, Wisconsin and Iowa – truly an exciting milestone for our growing organization!Sessions included information on supporting multi-campus testing centers, exploring leadership and collaboration, practical solutions to everyday testing problems and testing accommodations and animals in testing centers. The President’s Award this year went to three deserving individuals on the GLCTA Governing Board: Heidi Hartley, Heather Vennekotter and Ryan Mays, for their amazing work in planning the conference, as well as their hard work in moving the GLCTA onward and upward…we congratulate and thank them!
