Dear Care Coordination Partners,

This Communique will provide you with:

➢ Updated Amerigroup (AGP) implementation date

➢ Date for the high-level overview of the Amerigroup Care Management Systems webinar

➢ New Care Coordination training plan

As previously communicated, we will be moving our care management capabilities, including many of our current care coordination responsibilities, to a new system with Amerigroup (AGP). The new implementation date is December 1, 2018.

The high-level overview of the AGP systems (Skype webinar) is now scheduled for October 3, 2018. This is a required training and will be recorded. Delegates will be given their AGP system log-in information prior to this webinar and are expected to download their RSA tokens for access and sign-on. After the webinar, Care Coordinators and other users of the new AGP system will have until the end of November to complete the additional training listed below.

Training for the Amerigroup system will be done virtually. Virtual training will allow each individual flexibility in scheduling and pace setting. In addition, by completing virtual training it will eliminate scheduling conflicts and the potential for travel hazards associated with winter. Additional Skype check-in meetings will be provided by your Partner Relations (PR) Consultant during this training period. Your PR consultant will reach out to you to schedule.

Required Virtual Trainings:

➢ AGP SmartShare training modules: An interactive on-line training environment taking the user through CareCompass and Member 360.

➢ AGP webinar “Interactive Care Reviewer” (ICR): Training on the system used (via Availity) to enter all service authorizations and DTRs

Additional material to review:

➢ Delegates review Blue Plus process changes related to AGP implementation in the updated Care Coordination Guidelines and AGP Systems Manual when released.
