The successful candidate will have ten or more years of progressive and directly relevant HR generalist work experience and possess the ability to partner on key initiatives of all levels within the company.? This position will provide human resources functions under general direction, working independently or with a team.Essential Job FunctionsHuman resources functions supporting employees both at corporate office and multiple locations including expatriates that includes new hire on-boarding, off-boarding, leave of absence administration and health and welfare administrationParticipates in and leads areas of?the operational aspects of employee benefits programs which include but may not be limited to the 401(k) retirement plan, medical, dental, STD, LTD, life insurance, AD&D, and voluntary insurance plans. This will include benefits plan design, reporting and reconciliation and auditing of premiums and plan expensesAssure company compliance with provisions of ERISA and other regulatory requirements. Prepare various reports required by law to be filed with federal and state agencies such as 5500’s and Non-Discrimination TestingParticipates in?the coordination of the annual wellness assessmentAdminister effective communication strategies and training materials to ensure that our benefit programs are fully understood by employeesEnsures development of and adherence to principles, practices and proceduresStreamline behind the scenes processes by drafting SOPs and creating internal checklistsMaintain employee records and files in Deltek Costpoint 7 (HRIS); will analyze and compare HRIS data from difference sources which may include creating and maintaining various HR-related files, spreadsheets and ad-hoc reportsHandles unemployment claims and employment verifications.Answer employee inquires in a timely manner and partners with Employee Services Director on complex mattersParticipates in special projects as requiredPartner with employees and management to communicate various human resource policies, procedures, laws, standards and other government regulationsPerform employee relations functions which includes the organization and execution of investigations into policy and law violations in addition to handling general employee concerns.
