What are the Locally Advanced Breast Cancer Clinic (LABC) Referral Criteria?
Who is eligible for care in the LABC?
Patients with:
- a clinically palpable mass of > 5 cm
- clinical involvement of skin; peau d’orange, extensive erythema or tumour erosion through the skin
- a clinically fixed palpable breast mass
- a clinically fixed axillary mass with or without a palpable breast mass
How Do I Refer My Patients?
Please complete the New Patient Referral Form
Reports required by the admitting department for breast cancer patients (if available); Breast referral information
Fax referrals to 604-930-4046. Please indicate in Special Patient Needs that patient is being referred to the Locally Advanced Breast Cancer Clinic. Should you have questions or concerns regarding the referral process, please contact 604-587-4301.
