Extra pay Position – Asst. Baseball Coach – Alex PerezAlex Perez was approved at the March Board Meeting as an assistant baseball volunteer coach. He has expressed an interested to be the paid baseball assistant Coach. If approved he will be paid retroactively. Approval of Out of Year Payment – Fire SecurityAn electronic firm responsible for the installation and maintenance of our fire alarm system and intercom system has sent a bill to Ajo Unified for $90 dated April 2017. Since this is a different fiscal year, the Board must approve the payment of this out of year expense. The district staff did process the payments and Pima County sent a check, but the company lost the check. Mrs. Cameron made the motion to approve the above out of year payment to Fire Security. Ms. Trujillo seconded the motion. The motion passed 5-0.b. Out of State Travel – AZ Association of School Business Officials ConferenceThe administration is seeking approval of travel to Laughlin, NV for the annual AASBO Conference on April 4-6, 2018. Attendees will be Venus Gallerani, Arcelia Munoz, Jose Yon, and Eric Schultz. The brochure is attached. Conference offers sessions/classes in: Transportation, Facilities Maintenance, Information Technology, Accounting, Payroll, Purchasing, Food Service, and Professional Development. The registration fees are $235 for Venus Gallerani, $250 for Arcelia Munoz, and $340 per person for Eric Schultz and Jose Yon. This includes hotel and food costs. Mrs. Duncan made the motion to approve the above out of state travel. Mr. Morales seconded the motion.
