Dx: 37 3/7 week pregnancy, Spontaneous Labor
Procedure: Spontaneous Vaginal Twin
Attending: Dr. West Assistant: Dr. Hughey

Twin A: Female, 5#5, at 0301. Apgars 8/9
Twin B: Male, 5#1, at 0344. Apgars 6/8
2 Placentas: Both Spontaneous, 3-vessel cord.
Epis: None
Lacs: 1st degree perineal laceration and bilateral periurethral lacerations
EBL: More than Average (~900 cc)
Blood type: B neg
Rubella: Immune
Cord Blood Gasses:
Twin A Twin B
A: 7.21/-3 A: 7.10/-6
V: 7.24/-2 V: 7.18/-4
After NSVD of Twin A, I explored the birth canal. Twin B was cephalic, -2 station. After contractions resumed, AROM was performed, yielding clear fluid. Twin B then descended normally and with several pushes, was delivered without incident
