Additional Information:

1. Statistics and Calculus are prerequisites for Engineering Analysis.

2. ECET 301 or equivalent is prerequisite for ET 472 Integrated Control Systems.

3. The upper level requirement in Liberal Studies can be satisfied by an online course offered by WCU usually during summer sessions.

4. Additional electives may be necessary if the 124 credit hour requirement is not met when all other program components are complete.

5. ET 478 will be the last course that is necessary in the major to meet the 33 hour requirement and will be scheduled as needed.

6. When a math requirement (Trig, Stat, or Calc.) is met, then the C2 category under Liberal Studies is waived.

7. When Physics and Chemistry are complete, then the C5 categories under Liberal Studies are waived.

8. The first year seminar is waived for two year college graduates.

9. Courses from NC community colleges which meet math/science requirements:

Trigonometry: MAT 121 & 122; MAT 162; MAT 172

Statistics: MAT 151; MAT 155

Calculus: MAT 223; MAT 263; MAT 271

Physics: PHY 131 or 132; PHY 151 or 152

Chemistry: CHM 131/131A; CHM 151

Exceptions may be approved by the Program Coordinator.

10. Questions concerning transferability of course work should be directed to the Program Coordinator.
