Primary Duties:

Lead the development and implementation of departmental marketing initiatives

Take specific leadership role(s) in firm-wide marketing efforts, i.e. speeches, newsletters, teaching training courses internal and external

Consistently increase and maintain personal and firm-wide network of business contacts

Lead departmental and/or firm-wide efforts to nurture and expand referral sources (clients and non-clients)

Examine and analyze accounting records to determine financial status of an establishment and prepare financial reports concerning operating procedures.

Review data regarding material assets, net worth, liabilities, expenditures, etc.

Prepare reports for management concerning scope of audit, financial conditions found, etc.

Make recommendations regarding improving operations and financial position of the organization.

Consistently meets all billing and realization goals.

Requirements:

Course work towards a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting

Approximately 1 year away from graduation

Career goal to become a CPA

Detail oriented and good with numbers

Good oral and written communication skills

Sound organizational skills

Ability to positively interact with many types of people

Ability to multi-task under pressure

Proficient with office technology and equipment. Including MS Office and others

Professional demeanor and appearance

Must possess a valid government issued driver’s license

Position Overview:

Compute, classify, record and summarize financial data to keep and maintain fiscal records according to established bookkeeping and accounting procedures.

Primary Duties:

Record financial transactions and other account information to update and maintain accounting records.

Compile reports and tables to show statistics related to cash receipts, expenditures, A/P, A/R and profit and loss.

Verify balances and entries, calculations, and postings.

Post debits and credits

Comply with federal, state and company policies, procedures and regulations.

Evaluate records for accuracy of balances, postings, calculations, and other records pertaining to business or operating transactions and reconciles, or notes discrepancies.

All other duties requested of, or needed by the firm as determined by the Partner–in-Charge.
