Buttermilk Pound Cake. Combine in large mixing bowl: 1 c. shortening or 2 sticks butter or margarine. 2 c. sugar. 4 eggs. 3 c. flour. 1 c. buttermilk. ½ tsp. soda. 1 Tbsp. vanilla.
