Let set.2 sticks butter - Cream for 2 minutes at medium speed.3c sugar - gradually add beating 5-7 minutes at medium speed.? Push mixture to side of bowl.6 eggs - Add to other side and beat till frothy.? Then beat eggs into the butter and sugar mixture.? Don't over mix.3c Flour - Alternate flour and sour cream and soda mixture.? Mix until just blended.Add vanilla if desired.Bake at 300 for 1.5 hours.Notes:All time O'Donnell favorite with or without ice cream. ?(As noted above leave everything out the night before eggs, sour cream...everything.? It does make a difference.?
