At Carver Center, we offer a variety of athletic opportunities and encourage all students to get involved. To be eligible to participate in Baltimore County Public School’s Interscholastic Athletic Programs, the student/athlete must meet the following requirements:
1. Meet the academic eligibility requirements. Must have a minimum grade point average of 2.0 and no more than one E on the preceding quarter report card. Incoming freshman are exempt from this for the fall season.
2. Have your doctor complete the Pre-Participation Physical Evaluation Form (Physicals are valid for one calendar year).
3. Complete the on-line registration at anizations/carver-center. See below for registration window by season. Registration will only reopen after the deadline if additional athletes are needed for a sport. Please register early!
4. The physical and online registration must be submitted prior to the first practice. The first practice will be held on August 14th. Please note, waiting until school starts MAY BE TOO LATE.
5. Registration for all sports seasons will be held online. See below for the date registration opens.
6. You may NOT participate in any practices until the physical has been submitted, online registration is approved and you have been deemed eligible by the Athletic Director.
7. Faxed physicals will NOT be accepted.
8. Physicals for Fall sports may be dropped off in the main office or mailed to Lori Brewer, Carver Center 938 York Road Towson, Md. 21204.
Again, we encourage you to try out for a team even if you have no past experience.
