Palau Bar Exam Application
Application for Admission to the Palau Bar
Form C: Admission by Examination
Admission to the Palau Bar by examination requires a passing score on four different portions of the Exam. The Exam is comprised of the Multistate Bar Examination (MBE), the Multistate Performance Test (MPT), the MPRE, a Palauan-based Essay Examination, and Multistate Essay Examination. The Exam is offered annually in July of each year.
Applicants who have taken and passed the MBE, the MPT, the MPRE, or an essay examination from a state or territorial jurisdiction of the United States within the past 5 years are not required to take that particular examination again, but applicants are required to provide official documentation of their passing score. Palau accepts transfers of scores of 120 and higher on the MBE, 65 or higher on the MPT, and 75 or higher on the MPRE. Applicants must also provide proof that they passed a state essay exam.
