Day 1

Sunday July 2, 2017-Flight Day

• Arrive at Pearson Airport 3.5 prior departure

Day 2

Monday July 3, 2017-Arrival in Barcelona

• Arrive at Barcelona El Prat Airport BCN 11:40am

• Coach bus takes group to hotel at 13:30 (30min bus ride)

• Check in to Sercotel Ciutat de Montcada Hotel ****

• Settle into rooms

• Buy lunch from supermarket for next day trip

• Optional: go out to eat for lunch locally, free time rest of the day, train to downtown Barcelona for the evening

• Hotel is 4 stars, includes half board (breakfast+dinner), safe, free Wi-Fi, roof top swimming pool, movie theatre mall and supermarket next door.

• Dinner at 19:30: Chicken Noodle Soup, Codfish with vegetables, fruit salad, glass of water or wine with bread

Day 3

Tuesday July 4, 2017- Sightseeing Day 1/Free optional day

• Breakfast Buffet: 7:00-10:30

• No bus must take public transport to downtown, maps will be provided and train schedule

• It is recommended to take the train to Plaça Catalunya: A major square in the heart of the Bari Gòtic area of the city. The large, open square is lined with seating and the ornamental gardens contain beautiful statues with wonderful water features.

• From this square you should use the Hop on and Off Bus, The Barcelona Hop-On, Hop-Off tour allows you to discover the many attractions of this delightful city at your own pace. This extensive tour covers all the highlights of the city in three great routes, from the unique Gaudi architecture to the lively beaches; all of Barcelona is explored with this hop-on, hop-off tour. With this ticket, you can hop on and off as many times as you wish, change route, or just sit back and enjoy the city's epic views from a state-of -the-art open-top bus. While on the bus you can learn about the city’s rich culture and history from the tourist guide present on-board or with audio commentary offered in 15 languages.

Park Guell: Designed by Gaudi and declared a Heritage Site by UNESCO. Park Guell contains amazing stone structures, stunning tiling and fascinating buildings.

Camp Nou: Home of FC Barcelona and one of Europe’s largest football stadiums.

Catedral-Barri Gòtic; Barcelona Cathedral houses the tomb of Saint Eulalia along with a number of paintings and valuable metalwork. The Cathedral is the most important building in the Gothic Quarter.

Day 4

Wednesday July 5, 2017- Tibidabo Mountain Trip

• Breakfast Buffet: 7:00-10:30

• Bus departs hotel at: 10:00am (30min bus ride)

• Tibidabo is a mountain overlooking Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain. At 512 metres, it is the tallest mountain in the Serra de Collserola. Rising sharply to the northwest, it affords spectacular views over the city and the surrounding coastline. Tibidabo Mountain has an Amusement Park, a magical place to be and one of the symbols of Barcelona. This 100-year-old amusement park is one of the oldest in the world, but one that never stands still. Tibidabo is one of the best sites in Barcelona.

• Activities: Amusement park with 25 rides, Skywalk and museum, Temple of Atonement of the Sacred Heart, lots of picnic areas, view of all of Barcelona.

• Dinner at hotel: 19:30-22:30 : Pumpkin cream soup with croutons, Grilled bass with stewed peas in white wine, Black Forest Cake

Day 5

Thursday July 6, 2017 - Sightseeing Day 2

• Breakfast Buffet: 7:00-10:30

• Bus departs hotel at: 9:30am (15min bus ride)

• Arrive at The Basílica i Temple Expiatori de la Sagrada Família, it is a large Roman Catholic church in Barcelona, designed by Catalan architect Antoni Gaudí.

• Explore area, take pictures in front of the church

• At 11:30am meet up for tour of Sagrada (1hour tour)

• Following the tour our next excursion is 2km away, we will walk 1km then stop for quick lunch, then continue to our destination

• Arrive at Park cituadella -The Parc de la Ciutadella is very calm and probably the greenest oasis in the megacity of Barcelona. It invites you to relax, to rebound and to go for long walks, as well as for a picnic. You can also use a rowing boat on the lake.On the grounds of the Parc de la Ciutadella, there are several attractions: the zoo, the Catalan Parliament. The Museu d'Art Modern is situated in the building of the parliament. The Zoological Museum and the Museu de Geologia are placed in the area of the park.

• First we will go to the Barcelona Zoo is a zoo in the Parc de la Ciutadella in Barcelona where over 4,000 animals from 400 different species are waiting for you.

• Following the zoo it is recommend to spend time in the park: kids can play, take photos, rent a row boat, have ice cream

• Bus will pick us up at: 18:00 at Arc de triomf Barcelona

• Dinner at hotel: 19:30-22:30: Caprese salad with cherry tomatoes and mozzarella pearls, Baked chicken with caramelized pineapple, Cream cake with whipped cream

• Pack up as we depart to Blanes the next morning

Day 6 (Organized by the festival)

Friday July 7, 2017- Departure to Blanes City

• Breakfast Buffet: 7:00-10:30

• Check out 12pm

• Bus to Blanes (1hour bus ride)

• Check into Hotel Esplendid Blanes ***

This hotel is a mini beach resort: offering buffet service for breakfast and dinner, no alcohol served, premises include squash and tennis courts, table tennis tables, a gym and a sauna, they have daily and nightly shows for children and adults, as well as water games, volleyball and basketball competitions in the swimming-pool -two swimming pools, outdoor and indoor. 2minutes away from beach

• Unpack, free time

Day 7

Saturday July 8, 2017- Beach Day

• Free time for own activities

• Explore the town

• Go out for lunch and ice cream

Day 8

Sunday July 9, 2017- Performance Day in Barcelona

During the day free time, beach time

Bus to Barcelona City

18:00 Gathering of the groups. Defile.

19:00 Opening ceremony of the festival (at the Sagrada Familia Cathedrale). Performances of the groups

Day 9

Monday July 10, 2017- Performance Day in Blanes

During the day free time, beach time

19:00 Performances of the groups. Closing ceremony of the festival, plaque and diploma award, exchange of the presents between the groups and the organizers.

Wednesday July 12, 2017- Beach Day/Free Day
