I look forward to having you in my class this semester as we discuss America’s political, legal, and economic systems. I know we will have many interesting conversations! I want each of you to be successful in high school and especially in this course, so this syllabus will help you become familiar with the requirements for the course, my expectations of you while in my classroom, as well as a general guide of what we will cover throughout the semester. Please take the time to read over the information in this syllabus with your parent(s)/guardian(s), and contact me if you have any questions.TEACHER AVAILABILITY I am available most days to assist students in need of extra help, to allow students to complete a missed quiz or test, etc. However, because I sometimes have other commitments (faculty meetings, hall duty, etc.), I ask that students make an appointment to stay after school.
