To provide a background in basic arithmetic and elementary algebra. To encourage the use of a scientific calculator that computes square roots and has a +/- key (Strongly recommended – TI-30XIIS or the TI-30XS Multiview). All students must bring a calculator to class each day. It will be used during class and for all exams. ................
