Wonderlic Basic Skills Test for English (WBST-V)

The Wonderlic English Placement test is a 20 minute, timed, 50 multiple choice question test. See below table for class placement.

Important information to know before practicing:

? The Wonderlic test has a 20 minute time limit (accommodations are available through the Disability Services Office)

? There are 50 multiple choice questions in the test ? One retake is allowed however you will have to pay a 2nd fee of $25 ? Your score is valid for 2 years

If you would like to review a full practice test before you come in, please email studentplacement@seattlecolleges.edu

with the subject "Wonderlic Practice Test" and we will send you a full practice version.

? While you take the practice test, we recommend timing yourself at least one time (20 minutes) as the test you

will be taking in the Student Assessment Office will have a 20 minute time limit. ? There are four possible answers for each question, but only one is correct. Your score is based on the number of

questions you answered correctly. If you think you know the answer, but are uncertain, select that answer and

move on to the next question. ? You do not have to answer all 50 questions, however you should try to answer as many as possible. ? In the official test, you will be able to review your answers if you have time at the end.

*Score 0-189 (50% or less) 190-295 (50-65%) 300-325 (65-75%) 330-500 (75% or greater)

*Please note: the percentages are approximate and only intended for students to use while grading themselves on practice exams. For placement, non-percentage placement scores are used. Wonderlic is scored based on a scaled score so all percentages are approximate.
