1 ½ cups white basmati rice, rinsed. ½ teaspoon salt. Directions. Heat ghee is a medium pot. Add cumin seeds. Sauté until golden brown. Add cloves and cardamom pods. Sauté for 1-2 minutes more. Then add cinnamon, black pepper, coriander and turmeric powders. Stir to combine and sauté another minute. Add rinsed rice. ................
