Paper 1 – You will learn the 3 programming constructs and will use these to learn C#.Paper 2 – You will learn about Data Representation, starting with Binary Arithmetic and Representing Images and Sound, moving onto Compression and Encryption. Whilst it would be a great advantage to have studied Computer Science GCSE and/or have some programming experience, there is an assumption that some students may have little or no prior knowledge, and the learning plan caters for this.The A Level Computer Science specification is an extension of the GCSE, it covers several of the same topics in more detail.
