Interested in TEACHING - Boston College

Interested in TEACHING?

Breakthrough Cambridge (BTC), formerly Summerbridge is looking for talented, energetic high school and college students interested in teaching and mentoring in our weekly After School Program.

At the ASP, students attend two academic based elective courses with 6-8 other students and work on homework. Each teacher is responsible for teaching two sections of an elective course and supporting a small group of students with homework.

Being a BTC Teacher provides high school and college students with a great opportunity to gain real hands-on classroom experience, while contributing to a program that is making a huge impact in students’ futures.

95% of BTC students go on to a 4-year college.

72% of BTC teachers go on to a career in education.
