Introduction to Private Investigation - BC Provincial Examination Locations

Remote Online Proctoring

eProctor allows individuals to be proctored from an Internet-connected computer while being supervised remotely by an invigilator via webcam and other monitoring systems. Individuals required to complete the IPI exam will be able to do so without the distraction of group testing environments or the time and cost of travel!

Introduction to Private Investigation - BC Provincial Examination Requirements

? The exam is delivered online by PSKN. To ensure the exam runs properly on your computer, please use Fire Fox, or Google Chrome as your browser.

? Candidates must email the PSKN support desk once they have scheduled their exam. Candidates will not be permitted to book their exam until they have successfully completed the Introduction to Private Investigation online course.

? As of January 1, 2019, Users will be responsible for the payment of the provincial exam. If you purchased the IPI course prior to January 1, 2019, please email our support desk at support@pskn.ca to arrange your exam.

? Candidates must register at least two weeks in advance of the scheduled exam. Registered candidates who cancel (in the two weeks prior to the exam) or fail to attend the exam will not receive a refund.

? The exam consists of 100 questions. Candidates will be given 2 hours to complete the exam.

? To pass the exam, a candidate must achieve 70% or greater. If a candidate fails to pass the exam, they may reattempt the exam at the next scheduled sitting. The full registration fee applies to each sitting.

? PSKN will report all examination results to the Provincial Registrar.
