Outlook HelpVisit the Microsoft Office Outlook Help Center for help in using Microsoft Office.Enable/Disable ClutterClutter is an Outlook feature that learns your email habits to determine the messages that will likely be ignored. It then moves those messages to a folder in your Inbox called Clutter. Emails are only moved and not deleted. To Enable/Disable Clutter you must log on to Outlook through OWA using one of the following browsers: Chrome, Internet Explorer 9, 10, or 11. Click on the gear icon at the top right of the screen, choose Options and Clutter. To Enable, select “Separate items identified as clutter”. After you enable Clutter, you will receive a follow-up notice with more information. If you enable Clutter and you notice messages that should not go into the Clutter folder, you can manually move them out. To Disable, select “Don’t separate items identified as clutter”. Add or Change Outlook Profile PhotoYou can upload a profile picture from your agency computer that will appear in all services that display a photo. Important!? The profile photo is a visual representation of how you will be perceived by your coworkers. Make sure to choose the image you use with care. To add or change a profile photo: Log on to Outlook Web App (OWA) using Chrome:? OWA, click on the user photo box located at the upper right of the screen.Click change located below photo box.Click Browse to locate a photo on your local computer that you want to use as your profile picture, and then click Upload.Your photo cannot be larger than 10 KB and it must use one of the following file extensions: .jpg.gif.png.bmpClick Save. Your profile picture will appear in all Office 365 services that display profile photos. Change the settings for my Junk email folderIn Outlook, select you Home tab.? Click on the?Junk?icon located in the upper left side of the tool bar.The first options in the Junk drop down menu reference the specific message that is selected in your mail Outlook window. For quick Junk filtering, select any of the following: Block Sender?- automatically put any email from the sender's address into your Junk email folder.Never Block Sender?- messages where the sender's email address is in the From field will never be identified as Junk email.Never Block Sender's Domain (@)?- any messages from that same domain (typically an organization or company such as @, @, @harvard.edu), will not be filtered as Junk email.Never Block this Group or Mailing List?- messages that use a distribution list may have the email address in the To, Cc or Bcc fields of the email you receive. In this case you would add them to the Safe Recipients List to ensure that messages aren't filtered as junk mail.To configure global filtering, select?Junk email Options...?from the bottom of the?Junk?drop down menu. Make sure the Options tab is selected in the window that appears. If you are finding that too many messages are filtered as junk, select the top option of?No Automatic Filtering. Select the?Apply?button in the lower right to save any changes, then?OK?to return to Outlook. Outlook will now only send messages that have been put on your Blocked Senders list to the Junk email folder. If you find that you are receiving a lot of junk mail in your Inbox, you may want to select Low?or?High?in the Junk email Options window instead - however you will have to check your Junk email folder regularly to make sure messages you do want are received.The Safe Senders, Safe Recipients and Blocked Senders tabs at the top of the Junk email Options window allow you to view and manage any addresses that have been added to these lists for filtering.Schedule a conference room using OutlookOutlook 2010:? Use the following the steps to schedule an Outlook meeting and find an available conference room in the Global Address List (GAL). Create a new Meeting.Click on Scheduling Assistant . Click on Invite Attendees. At the far right you will see a “Room Finder” panel.? Click on the drop down below “Show a room list:” and scroll down to select the conference room list you want to see such as “HHSC ConfRm List Winters”. The list of conference rooms will appear below “Choose an available room” and they will also appear on your attendee list so that you can decide which conference room to use. Select the conference room you want by highlighting it below “Choose an available room”. Click on the Appointment button and select the date and time. Fill out the Subject and any details and click Send. Search for people in OutlookFrom the Outlook client look for the box that has "Search People",Enter the name or group you are looking for and the names or groups will start populating in the drop down box as you type:Select or scroll down to the name or group you are looking for to get more information: ................
