In this full-time, hourly position, you must be detail oriented, have excellent organizational, computer and communication skills. Greenhouse Supervisor-- This is a full-time position. Compensation $52,364 plus benefits.

Oversees the daily horticulture operations of the Oak Park Conservatory, specialty gardens, and oversees the care of the Conservatory's bee aviary, tropical fish & bird collection. Horticultural Maintenance Manager

ServiScape is a full-service landscaping company that operates primarily along the shores of Lake Michigan. We offer landscape design, installation, maintenance, landscape lighting, irrigation and Christmas decor.

Overview The Horticultural Maintenance Manager (Hort Manager) is responsible for the Horticultural Maintenance Department of the ServiScape Landscape Division. This position reports directly to the Owner/President of ServiScape LLC.

The Hort Manager directs the daily activities of the Hort Department, including but not limited to; staffing, training, hiring, scheduling jobs, estimating, delegating to the Hort Department foremen, directing daily/weekly/monthly activities, communicating with clients, quality control, working in conjunction with the other Landscape Division department managers, coordinating between departments, working directly with the Landscape Division Scheduling Manager, participating in weekly staff meetings, participate in safety meetings and assure safety guidelines/policies are followed, participating in capital improvement decisions, and the like.

Daily Responsibilities ? First and foremost ? be an effective and inspiring team leader. ? Work directly with the Scheduling Manager on jobs, routing, and daily reporting. ? Mentor crews in the field to increase their knowledge of plants and practices. ? Visit client properties to assure quality standards are being met.

Requirements ? 7 years of practical horticultural experience or degree in horticulture. ? 2 years management experience, including scheduling and training. ? Ability to accurately identify desirable plant material and weeds. ? Have or obtain Indiana & Michigan applicators license.
