ADVERTISEMENT FOR REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS

Baltimore County Public Schools (BCPS) hereby requests sealed proposals for Qualification for Civil Engineering ? Site Consulting Services, Reference Number JNI-715-15. Commodity Code 925-17.

Firms proposing to submit proposals may secure the documents after 2:00 P.M. (EST), on or after October 16, 2014. Solicitation documents can be obtained electronically by emailing request to: jnichols@. Email requests MUST include firm's corporate address, phone number, fax number, and representatives contact name. Additionally, hard copy contract documents are available for pickup at the Office of Purchasing, 6901 Charles Street, Building "E", 1st Floor, Towson, Maryland 21204. There is no cost for the documents.

To be considered for qualification, interested firms shall:

1. Be pre-qualified with the Baltimore County Department of Public Works (BC DPW) as a professional engineering consultant prior to the submission due date.

2. Submit qualifications for these services as required in the Request for Qualifications for Qualification for Professional Engineering Consulting Services, dated October 16, 2014.

BCPS will receive sealed proposals at the BCPS Office of Purchasing, 6901 Charles Street, Building E, 1st Floor, Towson, Maryland 21204, Attention: Jack Nichols until 2:00 PM local time on Thursday, NOVEMBER 6, 2014. The name of the Proposer and the BCPS Reference Number shall be on the outside lower right-hand corner of the submittal package. Late proposals will be rejected as non-responsive.

BCPS encourages Certified Minority Business Enterprises to respond to the Request for Qualifications.

BCPS assumes no responsibility whatsoever in connection with any defects arising out of the issuance of the Request for Qualifications. or the receipt or failure to receive proposals, including those which may arise from delay for any reason in obtaining the Request for Qualifications or submitting the proposal, including but not limited to traffic delay, messengering, mis-labeling, misdirections from any source, mis-delivery or otherwise.

When it is in its best interest to do so and to the maximum extent under applicable law, Baltimore County Public Schools reserves the right to waive informalities, to reject all proposals, and to reissue this proposal at its option, and does not make an obligation to purchase by issuing this request for qualifications.
