The leaves (around 50-100) are crushed or ground and the juice drunk, possibly diluted with water. Fresh leaves are chewed (10 large fresh leaves ≈ 30 g, according to other sources 8-28 large leaves) or 2–8 g dried leaves (approx. 8–28 dried large leaves) are left to soak in water for 10 minutes and then rolled into a plug and chewed. ................
