NMVCC: Where they are now:
? They are continuing weekly meetings with consortium members to discuss all of the member's progress and to address questions
? Working with group on advertising to grow the program. Committee members are working on a flyer to send out to school districts and to present at educational conferences. We have met once so far, and are scheduled to meet every other Tuesday.
? Parent/Student/LEA (Residing schools) survey has been sent to each member of the consortium
to send out to providing LEA stakeholders mentioned above to collect data on the program by PED.
? The consortium members are currently working on the executive summary as a team to submit to
PED for funding purposes.
Where is TTCA now:
Semester 2: ? Currently, there are 77 students enrolled in TTCA. ? 4 Seniors have currently completed courses early. 1 is completely done for the year and 2 have completed 1 of
their courses and are continuing to work on the others. ? Attendance continues to be entered into Power School. ? Working with the Edgenuity and their Special Education Department and our Special Education Department to
further strengthen this part of the program. Working on having more flexibility with the curriculum to be able to individualize instruction on a more detailed level. ? Planning for next year using this year's information to adjust the program for better effectiveness.
Where is TTCA headed/recommendations:
? Edgenuity offers SEL (Social Emotional Courses) and would like to inquire how to add these courses as part of offered electives or as an advisory course as part of TTCA. Example courses; SEL Courses
? Continue to keep this program as part of each school site's curriculum offering as an extension of the school. ? Continue to keep this program as part of the district, to provide other districts with options for their students if
they are unable to provide the resources.
