Blast off into New Worlds with Reading

Our school is hosting a Read a Thon fundraiser from January 19--February 6. During the next few weeks, we encourage students to spend some free time reading a good book! Students, Parents, and Teachers can log in the minutes read to their personal website to keep track of their progress. Prizes will be awarded for both minutes read and donations received. Prizes will be given out during the fundraiser. This is an fun program for students who participate.

Our school will be raising money to fund the many needs of our students and staff this school year and we need your help. You can register online to receive credit card donations AND you can collect cash and check donations. Please make checks payable to Bellamy Elementary PTA. All Donations are due by no later than February 6th at midnight in order to receive prizes.

To participate, follow these 3 simple steps: 1. Register your child at It's free,

quick, and easy! For School Identifier use: 6033f7667d028 2. Email and/or Text your child's student fundraising webpage to

all your friends and family. Be sure to send it again a few days later. 3. Post on Facebook, Twitter, etc. The average person has 400 FB friends.

You'll be surprised when donations come in from distant relatives, friends from the past, and co-workers. You can raise 3x's more using social media.

Any student who reads

200 minutes or more will

earn a NO Homework Pass

Students who read at least 500 minutes will earn a Space Bookmark

Students who read at least 800 minutes will earn 3 Space Buddies

The top student in minutes read for each grade: Pk--5th will each receive 25 DoJo

Points

The TOP Class in minutes read will get to Silly String their Teacher
