Job Summary

Client Advisors are the primary managers of the client relationship and are the most experienced advisors in the firm. The position has responsibility for managing existing client relationships and formulating and implementing advice. Client Advisors work with and train other staff in client service delivery.

Duties and Responsibilities

Client Advisors can expect to focus their work in the following areas:

Client relationship development and management for The Joseph Group's existing individual, high net worth clients, including ongoing and regular client contact and communications

Position will serve as client's "financial quarterback" by advising on topics such as investments, retirement, cash flow, taxes, debt, charitable endeavors, education planning, insurance, and estate planning.

Determine which Joseph Group investment strategies are most appropriate for a client's specific objective and explain how the client's portfolio construction fits within TJG's proprietary "Wealth Allocation Framework."

Educate clients on the firm's investment strategies and conduct regular portfolio reviews which explain the client's investment results in the context of the appropriate strategy

Client service, including handling client requests, preparation of financial plans using Cheshire planning software, and planning updates

Integrate into The Joseph Group's team environment and participate in The Joseph Group's functional teams to help achieve firm goals.

Qualifications The Client Advisor position typically requires the following qualifications:

Minimum 3-5 years experience in investment management and/or financial advisory services with demonstrated ability to develop and manage plans and manage client relationships

Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university; CFP designation preferred Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Must learn Cheshire financial

planning software and Junxure CRM software Financial planning/wealth management acumen, judgment and experience Excellent communication, listening, and relationship building skills A passion for caring for clients through their finances A team player in The Joseph Group's "Best Places to Work" culture Desire/ability to work successfully in a small company environment Proactive, self-motivated personality

Salary and Benefits Pay/benefits are competitive based on industry standards.
