Cuyahoga Metropolitan Housing Authority's Open Enrollment for the 2022 plan year has begun. This is your annual opportunity to review current benefit elections and make changes based on you and your family's needs for the upcoming plan year. Open Enrollment is the ONE TIME of the year when you can make changes to your benefits without a qualifying "special enrollment event." All changes will be effective at 12:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 1, 2022.

As you know, this year's open enrollment will be completed online. Every employee eligible for benefits must log on to and complete the enrollment process. All changes and/or additions must be completed during the enrollment period beginning Monday, November 29, 2021 through Friday, December 10, 2021.

During Open Enrollment, eligible employees have the chance to:

Change their medical plan; available options are the current Medical Mutual PPO and the current Medical Mutual CLECare plan utilizing the Metro Health Network of providers. We are also introducing a new Dental Plan through Met Life.

Enroll for coverage; if you do not have coverage now and are an eligible employee

Cancel coverage for yourself and/or dependents

Add eligible family members

Verify the information on file for yourself and that your life insurance beneficiaries are accurate and up to date.

Human Resources will be facilitating an ALL ?DAY open lab for employees in need of assistance enrolling in their benefits online. Assistance will be available in the IT Computer Lab located on the 2nd floor Room 251 of the main campus on Thursday, December 9th and Friday, December 10th.

Please be sure to have all required documents such as birth certificates and social security cards with you if you're adding dependents to complete the enrollment process.

Thank You,
