University of Camerino Scholarship Program

On behalf of the bilateral cooperation between the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology of the Republic of Kosovo and the University of Camerino (UNICAM) in Italy, we are happy to announce the scholarship program for kosovar students provided and funded by Univeristy of Camerino for academic year 2020-2021.

Ten (10) scholarships will be provided for the all study programs offered by UniCam held in English language or Italian language; five (5) for bachelor level students and (5) for master level students.

The interested candidates before they apply are required to read all relevant Information for available study programs offered by UNICAM, level of language proficiency, criteria, benefits of the scholarship, applications documents, visa/residence permit, etc., at the webpages:

SCHOLARSHIP BENEFITS

1. The awarded scholarship covers accommodation, meals at the University canteens when it is open, and tuitions fee.

2. One Flight ticket (Kosovo –Italy – Kosovo) only in the beginning of studies and in the end of studies.

3. Scholarship recipient will maintain the benefit for the 3 years (for bachelor degree programs);

4. two (2) years (for master degree courses), and five years (for one-tier Master degree programs)

provided that:

Before the beginning of the successive academic year ( October 1), at least 70% of the annual required credits have been acquired (i.e., 42 out of 60 CFU before the beginning of the second year, 84 out of 120 CFU for bachelor degree programs before the beginning of the third year, and similarly for one-tier Master degree programs.

5. Once enrolled in UniCam, students will receive all benefits reserved to regular students.

6. Only students with Kosovar citizenship are eligible for this scholarship program

7. The scholarship recipient must accept or reject the scholarship within 15 days from the formal communication.

QUALIFICATIONS AND DOCUMENTS REQUIREMENTS:

2. Academic background:

For a 1st cycle Degree - Laurea (Bachelor  Degree)

✓ Copy of high-school diploma that satisfies the requirements for access to university education,

                i.e., conferred on completion of a minimum of 12 years of education(copy from an original issued by school and translated into Italian)

✓ Copies of high-school transcripts of records (copy from an original issued by school and translated into Italian)

✓ Copy of Matura exam certificate that satisfies the requirements for access to university education (copy from an original issued by school and translated into Italian)

✓ CV

✓ Copy of Proof of language proficiency (International English Language Certificate) or prove of their proficiency in Italian at level B2 by international certification

✓ Application form

✓ Motivation letter

✓ Document of identity (copy of ID or passport)

For Master  Degree - Laurea Magistrale (2nd Cycle Degree)

Bachelor Degree that satisfies the requirements for access to University Master Degree courses;

✓ Copy of Bachelor Degree or academic qualification, translated into Italian

✓ Copy of List of subjects studied (transcript of records with grades obtained and translated)

✓ Copy of Course Syllabuses outlines or Diploma Supplement 

✓ CV

✓ Motivation letter

✓ Copy of Proof of language proficiency (International English Language Certificate) or prove of their proficiency in Italian at level B2 by international certification

✓ Document of identity (copy of ID or passport)

Note for all students: Above documents are only required for the first screening of scholarship application. The candidates should be aware that, if positively evaluated, they would have to send to the University or Italian Embassy the necessary documents as laid down in their requirements.

University of Camerino and Italian Embassy require the documents into Italian language.

For pre-admitted students:

The pre-admitted students have to include the other documents required for the pre-enrollment:

* ,  you can find the list of mandatory documents required to finalize the enrollment at the university.

*The deadline to apply to the Italian Embassy in Pristina is usually fixed in mid-July. In this regard, all pre-admitted students (selected students) must to fulfill all the procedures of the pre-enrollment at the Italian embassy to avoid the difficulty as appointment, documents verifications, ect.

The academic documents will be reviewed  by a Committee.

If is positively evaluated, an informal pre-acceptance letter will be sent back via e-mail.

ONCE IN ITALY, in order to finalize the enrollment, selected students must present the ORIGINALS of the following documents at the Student Registry. Failure to present even one of these mandatory documents can lead to rejection of the enrollment.

For courses taught in English. International students should produce an International English Language Certificate preferably at level B2 (Independent User) of the Common European Framework of Reference for Language Learning and Teaching.

For courses taught in Italian. For courses taught in Italian. Before matriculation, International students must prove their proficiency in Italian at level B2 by international certification or exam (usually held at UNICAM in September).

The Ministry of Education is not responsible for taking decision on behalf of the UniCam or provide funds for students in this scholarship programs, and we kindly ask you to follow each applications steps and requirements for a sucessful application.

Note: Before you apply, we strongly advise all applicants to carefully check the entry requirements of the study programmes and the language study program offered in the University of Camerino, because most of the Programs are in italian language.
