SUBJECT: Firearms Instructor Conference

The Annual Firearms Instructor Conference will be held November 9-10 2015, on the campus of the North Carolina Justice Academy. Due to the success of last year’s conference and the continued request for additional training, the conference will be conducted by the International Association of Law Enforcement Firearms Instructors® (IALEFI) as a Regional Training Conference.

Participants will have the opportunity to visit with vendors on Monday as well as take several of the five different classes being offered this year on Tuesday.

As time for the conference is quite near, please remember to bring enough ammunition for all of the shooting classes in the event you do not receive confirmation prior to the conference.

Pre-registration for classes will be on a first come/first serve basis as space in each offering is limited. The attached registration list reflects all of the classes offered and I would ask that you rank the classes, in order of preference 1 -5 which you would prefer to attend in each time slot. Everything possible will be done to ensure that you get the courses you requested.

Cost of the program is $145.00 and checks should be made payable to IALEFI. The pre-registration form should be mailed ASAP to the IALEFI office in order to get into the classes you prefer, faxed (603) 524-8856 or emailed to info@. You can contact IALEFI via telephone at 603-524-8787 for credit card payments.

Please remember that all IALEFI shooting classes require hearing protection, eye protection and a billed cap.

Instructors this year include John Meyer, formerly Vice President of H&K and the current President of Team One Network, , Capt. Frank Repass recently retired from the Kennedy Space Center, FL and formerly with the Orlando PD; Frank Martello, retired Marine, formerly with the Stafford County, VA Sheriff’s Office and currently with Trijicon, Fred Yates, a former member of the Special Forces, Buncombe County Sheriff’s Office and H&K International Training Division and Numa Landry, President of Dynamic Defense Tactics and formerly with the Alexandria, VA PD, the Bossier City, LA PD and the FBI.

As always, we look forward to seeing you at this year’s conference.
